Casa Legado

The location in the Chapinero neighborhood is perfect. As others have said, it does feel like you are staying with dear family in their beautiful home. We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet and talk with other guests from all over the world at breakfast. And, let me stress, you still have plenty of privacy with your own room. The kindness, attention and service level of every single person on the staff is next level. We could've sworn every single person was the owner with the amount of care and hard work they put in. PRO TIP: We almost didn't stay because there is no gym. However, we discovered STARK Smart Gym, just a block or two away. Go online, fill out easy form and you get 3 days free, no questions asked. Super easy to pop over there and they have excellent equipment: Everything. Cardio, machines, free weights. Very clean. Nicer and better option than any hotel gym.

A lovely hotel. The communal lounges are very good to sit and relax and have a drink. The whole place is very tastefully decorated. The hotel is located in a quiet residential. It is a 20-30 minute cab ride into central Bogota and La Candelaria.

From first contact Camila — who’s in charge of guest communications — made us feel invited and taken care of. At the property everything was beautiful, comfortable and inviting, like we were staying with friends and not at a hotel. The owner, Helena was lovely and engaging, and staff Ana and Carolina took good care of us. Then we left for Cartagena, had some troubles and contacted Camila and she did some research, found us an exquisite hotel, and literally rescued our travel experience! Then we met Camila at the property on our return to Bogota en route back to Mexico City and it was like a family reunion. Camila is a Treasure! Just warm and connected and all the things you want travel to be! A+++++ Experience From Soup to Nuts!

The breakfast was delicious & the staff were amazing. What made it stand apart from other bnb's that we've been to, is the extra little touches that they offered such as welcoming us into their kitchen & helping ourselves to snacks etc. Also we were impressed with the communication before we went , asking us if we needed any help with anything. We arrived early & we received such a friendly welcome. You just can't fault it.

Casa Legado was pristine! The staff could not have done more for us, and were very friendly. The free kitchen supplies (very extensive) and free laundry facilities made you feel like you had been invited to someone’s very beautiful place. Casa Legado feels kind and very comfortable. It is also in a great area near to shops and restaurants on Carrera 9, and very safe.
